'Celebrity Big Brother' followed the success of 'Big Brother.' But will be most remembered for the 'race row' in the fifth series of the show in 2007.
The series began after the third series on the regular 'Big Brother' series and continued in the Winter after every other series apart from in 2003 when it was replaced by 'Teen Big Brother.' The show has now completed five series.
The first series witnessed an unprecedented move as Channel 4 teamed up with the BBC to raise money for Comic Relief. It was the first time that the two channels had co-operated in such a way as the show was screened on Channel 4 and on the BBC.
The show invited ten celebrities into the Big Brother house to do weekly tasks and nominate fellow house mates for eviction.
