Sitcom written by Ian Pattison and starring Gregor Fisher as 'Rab C. Nesbitt.' Rab C. is a Scottish drunken waster who spends his days on full tank of alcohol ranting about life and the establishment.

'Rab C Nesbitt' has become quite an iconic figure with his grubby headband, string vest and rolled up newspaper. The show began life as a sketch on the popular 'Naked Video' TV series. A one off special was then produced in 1989 called 'Rab C Nesbitt's Seasonal Greet.' From the success of the special a full series was commissioned in 1990.

The show plots the life and times of Rab C, which includes his ongoing battles with his wife Mary (Elaine C. Smith) and his two obnoxious kids Gash (Andrew Fairlie) and Burney (Eric Cullen.)

Gregor Fisher later starred in the 1994 series 'The Tales of Para Handy.'
